The Eighty-one-year-old monarch and businessman was enthroned in a coronation ceremony held at his palace on Saturday.
Addressing newsmen at the Ogunsua market, Modakeke, venue for the last rites of his installation, Oba Toriola, expressed joy over his enthronement, saying he had nurtured the dream of becoming the King of the town for 43 years.
The monarch while seeking for the full support and cooperation of the people of the town for the realization of his laudable developmental plans for the town, assured that his reign would usher in new phase of unprecedented growth and development to the community.
“I feel elated. I have been in line for 43 years. I am happy. People should expect an all-round development. I will work with all stakeholders.”, Oba Toriola said.
Oba Olubiyi’s installation came barely a month following the demise of his predecessor, Late Oba Moses Oladejo Oyediran, Ajombadi III who joined his ancestors in March, this year at the ripe old age of 95 years.
