Nígerian Psychiatrist In Brazil , Dr. Emmanuel Oluwatuyi has vowed to unite Igbos ,Yorubas , Benins,Calabars, and all Nigerian ethnic groups in Brazil
As Nígeria looms in ethnic , religious , social and economic conflicts , the newly elected president of the Nigeria Community In Brazil ( NICOM) Dr. Emmanuel Oluwatuyi has vowed to make Brazil a conducive place for Nígerians to live .
Dr. Oluwatuyi , who was re-elected on the 4th of June , 2022 as the president of Nígeria Community In Brazil with over 70% of the total vote said that the ethnic and religious conflicts rocking Nígeria should not affect the harmony of Nígerians in Brazil , he said that Igbos , Yorubas , Benins , Calabars , and other ethnic groups should live as one in Brazil.
The medical doutor said that the political instability in Nígeria should not be a problem amongst Nígerian ethnic groups living and plying their trades in Brazil , he promised to lead a Nígeria community free of tribal sentiments .
According to the Polling officer , Dr. Alex Colman PHD , also the first Nígerian to cast his vote , “ I am one of the founders of the Nigeria community in Brazil .It started while I was a student at the University of Sãopaulo about 40 years ago . Today , I have realized my civic right as a Nígerian living in Brazil . I wish the president , executives and every Nígerian in Brazil the very best “ The pharmacist said .
Prof . Joshua Imoniani , a Nigérian Accountant and academic at the University of Saopaulo , Brazil , also realized his civic right, he voted at the center for his preferred candidate .
Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderounmu , the President of the NICOM Electoral Committee , exercised his civic right , he advised every Nígerian in Brazil to vote and live in peace .
Hon. Godwin Ejuone, the runner up , thanked the Electoral committee for a job weldon . Ejuone congratulated the President Elect and asked all Nígerians in Brazil to support him as the elected leader .
According to Comrade Lawrence Idowu ,” A psychiatrist like Dr. Oluwatuyi is the exact professional to heal some Nígerians in Brazil. This community has been without a leader for a while now . I congratulate the Electoral committee and every Nígerian who contributed to this success . i congratulate Dr. Oluwatuyi “ He said .
Evangelist Temitope , Hon. Mike Nwaiwu , Hon. Chuks and Adeyinka Olaiya composed the NICOM Electoral committee . The voting and counting activities ended at about 7 pm , and the closing prayer was rendered by Pastor Moses of Christian Community Ministry International , Saopaulo, Brazil .
