Dr. Fernando Jose da Costa , the Commissioner for Justice and Citizenship , on the 2nd June .2022 , received the most significant award of excellence in Saopaulo, Brazil .
The Saopaulo State Commissioner for Justice was honored by the African Cultural Center for his immense contribution towards human development and the sociocultural integration of African immigrants and Afro-descendants in Brazil .
The Commissioner who received the Award from a Nigerian Yoruba Ogboni king , the President of the Africa Cultural Center , Oba ( Ogboni Iwashe) Adekunle Aderonmu in the State Palace expressed his satisfaction , he promised to continue doing his best for a just and conducive environment for all to live as one family . The secretary further demonstrated his continual interest in promoting intercultural awareness between Africa and Brazil . He said “Brazil is incomplete without Africa “
The Special Award Session held in the state palace did not only count with the presence of the commissioner for Justice but also the chief of staff , Lucimara Nunes de Paula , the coordinator of policies for the black and indigenous population, Antony Carlos da Silva Barros , the communication director of the African Cultural Center , Dalton Patriota , Moacir Matos and the Regional Development Secretary , Danilo Zamboni
The grand session , accompanied by Princess Oluwakemi Aderonmu , the President of African Cultural Center , Oba ( Ogboni Iwashe ) Adekunle Aderonmu , who presented the award , expressed his satisfaction with the honorable commissioner for Justice , he applauded the commissioner and his impacts in the sociocultural integration of African immigrants and Afro-descendants in Brazil
According to the Ogboni king : “ African Cultural Center has been doing this for about 20 years now , it will continue recognizing important personalities promoting the sociocultural integration of Afro-descendants in Brazil .
