One of Brazil’s most significant Orisa Drummer , a rhythmic and expressive music maker , Ayangbemi Tomás is a Brazilian of Japanese origin , music maestro and drummer , he is an Olorisa of excellence who elevates Yoruba spiritism with classical songs and drums of Yoruba rhythms .

A Bàbálórìsà , Japanese Ayangbemi grew up in ISESE , the practice of Yoruba traditional religion , he was initiated by his parents into the Orisa religion at a very tender age , Japa became a proclaimer of Orisa through playing drums , singing songs and praises to Esu Laalu , Ogun , Sango and other Irunmoles.

Initiated into IFA and Orisa worships , the Brazilian Tomas became Ayangbemi Onilu when he was initiated into AYAN , the cult of Onilu ( Drummers ) in Yoruba land .
A master teacher of Esu beats in Ile-Awo, Jaçanã, Saopaulo , Brazil, Ayangbemi organizes , projects and conducts services of songs and worships in Orisa shrines “ Templo dos Orixas “, Mangagua, Saopaulo, Brazil.

Married to Brazilian Iyalorisa Ominike of Ile-Awo ( Templo dos Orixás), Brazil . Ayangbemi sings in Yoruba language , defines the importance of Yoruba deities with classical beats in Saopaulo . He plays along his father and other contemporaries .
The founder of ” INARTS institute de Tocar” , in Saopaulo, Ayangbemi established drums and musics classes in Saopaulo , he intends to encourage Brazilians to always worship Orisas with songs and playing of drums .

“ I am like a spirit when playing drums for the Orisas , Ayangbemi is not Tomas when playing drums , they are two diferent entities. I eulogize Esu , Iyami , Ogun , Sango and all Orisas playing drums. I am thankful to my parents who taught me the right direction .
