Argentina V.Pres. Escaped Assassination , Bullet Failed
The Vice President of Argentina, Cristina Elisabet Fernández de Kirchner has escaped death , the former president of Argentina was attacked on Thursday night in Buenos Aires, in what was reported to be a failed assassination attempt.
The Vice President was greeting her supporters when a man took out a gun and tried to shoot Kirchner in the head , the bullet failed and the guards were able to wrestle the assailant to the ground .
The attacker identified as a 35 year old Brazilian Fernando Sabag Montiel has since been arrested and the country’s Security Minister , Anibal Fernandez has requested a detailed investigation, he said the weapon is currently undergoing analysis
“The suspect will be prosecuted and brought to Justice” Anibal Fernandez said
