Ooni Of Ife Remarries , Officialize Queen Mariam
The Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife on Tuesday night formally received his new queen; Olori Mariam Ajibola Ogunwusi.
The New Olori , Queen Ajibola was ushered into the Ile Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife at about 8pm last night by her mother and other members of her family from Kogi and Kwara , she was received by chiefs of Ife Traditional Council led by the Obalufe of Ife, Oba Idowu Adediwura and Lowa Adimula of Ife, High-Chief Adekola Adeyeye who after necessary traditional and spiritual rites performed by the Isoros(Chief priests)
Ancestrals gathered that the socialite who is known among her classy circles in Lagos isn’t one to be found on social media, Mariam doesn’t have an Instagram and not an addiction to social media . This has been her lifestyle even before she married the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Mariam came into limelight in July 2022 when news filtered into town that she is now married to the monarch who would bring her into the palace by August.
This Tuesday, September 6, 2022 Mariam Anako, the new wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi finally arrived at the palace as a legitimate wife of the highest spiritual leader of Yoruba land
Mariam , in her 30s , is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) in Nestoil Limited; Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sector.
Mariam is from the prominent Anako family of Kogi State. Her mother, a retired police boss, is an active politician. Mariam lost her dad at a young age and was brought up in the home of the former IGP Mohammed Dikko Abubakar who reigned as the boss of the Nigerian Police between (2012 to 2014). MD Abubakar as he is known, is the in-law of Africa’s wealthiest man , Alhaji Aliko Dagote
Olori Mariam was ushered into the palace after undergoing the traditional rites at the entrance to the premises, she was thereafter led into the inner court of the palace to meet her husband and other guests waiting to receive her.
