One of the most beautiful stories in world football seems getting a new chapter, Santos Futebol Club of Brazil , in recognition of what Africa represents to Brazil , has decided to sponsor Afro-descendants in Brazil to trace their ancestral links in Africa , the club will sponsor DNA Ancestry tests to locate their possible tribes and origin.
According to Santos football Club , the link between Santos and Africa is everlasting , the club will do all it takes to maintain the importance of Africa in its history .
The slave trade , a disaster that actually robbed Africans and their history brought millions of West Africans to Brazil as slaves , It separated millions of Africans till date , many can’t still trace their exact origin after centuries of oppression.
Today , Santos football club, one of the first clubs to feature a black person , has decided to sponsor DNA test to support Afro-descendants who wants to trace their Ancestral homes and tribes back in Africa
The Pelé’s eternal club , in celebration of its 50 years of king Pele’s 48hrs magics in Nígeria , a situation where Pele stopped Biafra war for 48 hrs only for fans to watch Santos play in Benin city , Nígeria.
This initiative is between Santos Football Club and End to End agency . The Santos FC will offer 50% discount on the DNA website (meudna.com), 1,000 genetic tests to its fans and all interested Afro-descendants in Brazil
