Brazil : Prof Akintoye Receives Award , Elevates Egbe Omo Oodua.
The Yoruba sócio-cultural group in Brazil , Egbe Omo Oodua , this weekend , 3rd December , 2022 , honored the Yoruba self determination leader , Prof. Banji Akintoye .
In commemoration of Yoruba day in Brazil , the group honored important dignitaries , parliamentarians who have contributed positively to the elevation of Yoruba race worldwide.
Speaking at the occasion , Comrade Olalekan Biobasholuwa who represented the Yoruba self determination activist , delivered a fatherly speech , as directed by Prof. Akintoye, to all Yorubas in Brazil and the Americas , he thanked the efforts of Egbe Omo Oodua in promoting the Yoruba culture and tradition in diaspora .
The Leader of Ilana Omo Oodua sent a message of courage to all Nígerian and Brazilian Yorubas , he said Yoruba race is superb worldwide and deserves better than what it is today in Nígeria. Akintoye advised all to continue struggling for a better Yoruba land .
Also awarded at the event , Parliamentarian and supporter of the Yoruba race in Brazil , Vereador Gilson Barreto thanked the Yoruba group in Brazil , he promised to continue supporting the Yoruba community in Brazil
The occasion celebrated the Yoruba culture in grand style , it was a display of Yoruba music , language and dances.
