The former executive secretary of Public Security of the Federal district , Dr. Fernando Oliveira , this Wednesday 18th. Feb. 2023 , in his statement at the Federal Police in Brasilia , accused the former Minister of Justice , Anderson Torres of planning the Coup attempt in Brasilia on the 8th of January, 2023 .
The former secretary who handed his Cellphone to the Police authorities for investigation stated that Anderson Torres, former Minister of Justice and Public Security in the Bolsonaro government , on the 6th of January , approved the plan of integrated actions , the foiled Coup attempt carried out on the 8th of January. 2023 in Brazil
Dr Oliveira explained that Torres traveled to the United States and did not even introduce him to the new Governor of the Federal Capital , Gov. Ibaneis Rocha and also to police commanders as the acting secretary.
According to him , Anderson Torres traveled before the beginning of his vacation scheduled to start on the 9th of January , “ He left to the USA knowing that a coup was going to take place on the 8th of January “ – Oliveira reveals
The former minister , who has been arrested , denied the accusation . He insists the affirmation is false and will only manifest in the court .
