Isese Day : African Center Awards Orisa Shrines In Brazil , Celebrates Victory
As Brazil celebrates National Orisa Day , the African cultural center , a topmost center for arts , culture and tradition in Brazil , on Monday 20th ,Mar. 2023 , celebrated Ile-Ase/Isese , the Yoruba traditional religion in grand style
The International Center for cultural researches awarded outstanding houses of Orisás ( Ile-Ase) in Brazil . It gave Awards of Excellence to distinguished Ile-Ases and all Bàbálórìsàs /yIyalorisas attached .
The Award night , held in the interior of Legislative House , Saopaulo , counted with the presence of important dignitaries and traditionalist in Brazil .
According to Oba (Ogboni) Oba Adekunle Aderonmu , the president of African cultural center in Brazil : “ This event is yours , it’s a celebration of success . We all fought for this Mar. 21st . I congratulate all the Traditionalists present here today . May Olodumare bless you all “ The Ogboni Lord said .
The award ceremony which gathered traditionalists from all part of Brazil featured Orisa singers and dancers . it also presented police bands who played throughout the event .
