Breaking News: Isese Activist TaniOlorun Released from Prison, Returns Home
In a significant turn of events, Isese activist and blogger, TaniOlorun, has been released from Ilorin prison after meeting the challenging bail conditions imposed by the court. TaniOlorun, who had been in custody for months over alleged attacks on the Muslim faith, regained his freedom on the 17th of November at approximately 6 pm.
Expressing gratitude, TaniOlorun conveyed his thanks to the Isese communities, various groups, and organizations that steadfastly supported him during his challenging time behind bars. The activist, accompanied by well-wishers, was conducted home following his release.
TaniOlorun’s release came a day after the court granted him bail on the 16th of November. The conditions for bail were reported to be demanding, but the combined efforts of supportive groups, communities, and his family proved successful in meeting these requirements.
The Isese activist is expected to address the media at a time of his choosing, asserting his right to speak on the matter. The commissions responsible for his release expressed their relief, stating, “TaniOlorun will address the media at his own time and in the manner he deems fit. Our role was to fight for his release. We thank Olodumare he is out of prison.”
