One of Nígeria’s most celebrated tradition in diaspora , the Igbo tradition , yesterday , 10th of September, 2022 recolored Brazil , Igbos in Brazil elevated the cause of Indigbos , the Ancestors arose as the city of Saopaulo sang and danced in Igbo rhythms . Organized by Felix Chidozie , the CEO of Afrobrasilink , the New Yam festival in Brazil won the year , it paraded the best of Indigbos , the festival was a celebration of who is who in Igbo tradition in Brazil , they displayed fun , love , oneness and originality from the beginning to the end .
Held in the heart of Saopaulo city , the festival counted with the best of all Igbo attires , the red caps and costumes won the whole event , Igbos in Brazil alerted the Brazilians who also graced the occasion of what it takes to be an Igbo person , they wore reds , red caps , and spoke in the language of the gods.
It was a new sensation to some Brazilians who thought Nígeria only danced to the tune of Orisas . Multitude saw a tradition of excellence from that same Nígeria many already tagged Orisa land .

Rated as one of the best festival of the year in Brazil , the new yam festival featured Igbo women dancers , bands and Masquerades , the bands and songs in Igbo became official at the event

The event held in the interior of a gymnasium paraded Igbo men and masquerades , they moved the crowd who later joined them to dance and sing on the stage , it was fun as Igbo tradition dictated the night .
The festival , which was the discuss in most places and houses around the city of Saopaulo , observed the necessary caution as determined by the sanitary unit in Saopaulo, it was a gathering of well wishers from all across Brazil and around the world .
As the saying goes “ He who gives Kola gives life “ the festival cut Kolas and elders were immediately served as the tradition demands , they also served Yams and Palm oil to the multitude as refection . Drinks were made available to all .
Other ethnic groups from Nígeria were represented , the Yorubas , Benins and other African tribes sang and danced in Igbo . It was a celebration of love and harmony in Brazil
