One of Brazil’s most famous club side , Santos Football Club , this Wednesday , 14th. September, 2022 launched its third official jersey , the Pele’s former club side paid homage to Nígeria, it celebrated the 50 years of Santos magic match in Nígeria , the march that paused Nígeria-Biafra war in Benin , Nígeria
The third Jersey having Nígeria written at the back is to commemorate what Pele and his club side , Santos , did in Nígeria, the Pele’s side stopped the Nigerian civil war for 48 hours , the warring factions (Nígeria and Biafra ) put aside their differences for a couple of days for Santos to play in the country

The New jersey features some elements of Nigerian culture and other African ethnicities with tribal and triangular details. Mostly in black and lead, the mantle also has a collar with a “V” neckline where, internally, it is possible to read: “Together for peace, together for joyful football”, in reference to the style of play of the two countries. On the back, it is also written: “Nigeria 1969. The day the war stopped”.
According to the club , the debut of the Santos third jersey is scheduled for 27th September. 2022 in Santos .Brazil
