Atiku’s Candidacy , An Insult To Nigerians – Says Dele Farotimi

A Nigérian lawyer and Activist , Barrister Dele Farotimi has described the political intentions of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku as fraudulent and uncalled for , he said Atiku vying for presidency is an Insult to the entire Nígerians .

The outspoken activist spoke at the Adeyinka Olaiya live interactive chat in Brazil , he insists Abubakar Atiku should never , at any point in time , be allowed to contest for presidency in Nígeria.

According to Dele Farotimi , Atiku is a wanted person in the United States Of America , such criminal should not be allowed to contest for any political post in Nígeria , “ Nígeria will not prosper voting a corrupt leader who lives not even in Nígeria “

“ Tinubu and Atiku are yesterdays in the history of Nigeria , they represent the past , they are fraudulent , myopic and self-centered , they have ruined the nation , they are the same . The difference in Mr Peter Obi is his prudence; so prudent enough that he saved money even while in office as a Governor . I have never seen such a Nigerian politician” – Farotimi said

Dele Farotimi said Atiku is a Fulani , he insists that Nígeria is not ready to transfer power from a Fulani person to another Fulani . The Barrister asked for Justice and equity “ it is time for the Igbos too , Mr Peter Obi is a better candidate . Igbos are Nígerians too , they deserve it “ He said

Responding to questions , Barrister Farotimi classified the APC and PDP presidential flag bearers as same “ Atiku and Tinubu are like twin brothers , there is nothing new to talk about them , talking about one is same as talking about the other “

The intelectual stands on his earlier statement that if Tinubu eventually win the 2023 election in Nígeria , him “ Oladele Farotimi “ would have left the country before he is sworn-in . “ I won’t be able to tolerate the likes that might accompany Tinubu to the office “ – The activist said .

“ Tinubu can’t do me nothing , am not afraid of him , he can’t do dark “ Farotimi disclosed frankly .

Dele Farotimi advised Nígerians in Brazil not to encourage their families to vote for the same set of old leaders who destroyed the country .
