ASE ISESE : Pele’s Santos FC , Soccer Legends , Academics Honored In Brazil , Elevates Culture
The African Cultural Center , Saopaulo , Brazil , on Thursday , 1st of December , 2022 , honored distinguished personalities , soccer legends and academics in 2022 Ase-Isese Awards.
The ceremony held in Saopaulo , Brazil , celebrated and honored the Santos 1969 squad , a formidable team that interrupted war In Nígeria “ It was a remarkable episode that gathered the warring factions in the main bowl of Ogbemudia stadium to watch the Santos Football Club play the Super Eagles of Nigeria” – says Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderonmu

The Center also awarded distinguished persons in Nígeria and Brazil . The award for the best Vice Chancellor was awarded to the Lagos State University Vice Chancellor , Prof Ibilola Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello , mni, for the LASU intercultural and academic exchange project between Brazil and Nígeria

The ceremony counted with the presence of cultural groups and singers from Brazil and Nígeria . The Nigeria Community , the Egbe Omo Oodua , the Yoruba One Voice , the Yoruba descendants in Brazil , the Santos Supporters club , the Centro Cultural Africano Crew ; Moah Mattos , Dalton Parreira , Kemi Aderonmu , Rosangela Mello and several others .
The Olorin Oba Oodua, KFA Valentine entertained the audience with his newly composed music jams in Yoruba and Portuguese
The ceremonialist , Sandrinha sagenteli eulogized the presence of the Santos FC legends , she thanked the invited guests , applauded the African Cultural Center for the initiative
Oba (Ogboni ) Adekunle Aderonmu thanked the audience , eulogized HRM , the Ooni Of Ife , Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi , Aare Ona kakanfo , Iba Gani Adams for the reception in Nígeria during the 12 days Santos legends passed in Nígeria.
