In a significant move to promote African culture and tradition in Brazil and beyond, Nigerian Ogboni king, Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderonmu, has launched Ifa Editora, a publishing outlet based in Barrafunda, Saopaulo. The establishment aims to facilitate the production of books, publications, and research on African arts, culture, tradition, and religion.
Ifa Editora, in affiliation with the African Cultural Center, a research and cultural institute owned by Oba Adekunle Aderonmu, will focus on supporting young African writers who struggle to find support to publish their books. The company aims to fulfill the dreams of aspiring authors from Brazil, Nigeria, and all around the world.
As a writer and author himself, Oba Aderonmu emphasizes the importance of promoting African traditions and considers this venture a contribution to pan-Africanism. Ifa Editora will not only publish books but also provide essential support for book launches and sales, fostering the growth of African literature.
According to Adedoja Shadiat Olorunfemi, the Director of Administration of Ifa Editora, the project is already functioning, and they are now presenting it to the public. The company’s mission is to make publishing culture books easier for African authors, enabling them to realize their dreams and preserve their rich cultural heritage.

Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderonmu, a renowned Nigerian Yoruba traditionalist, is a prolific writer and author of several books centered on Ifa and Orisa Religion. Recently, his book on Esu achieved best-seller status in the market.
As a dedicated pan-Africanist, Oba Aderonmu holds a significant position as the worldwide leader of the Ogboni Iwashe fraternity. As a Babalawo, he also authored books on Ifa and Ogboni, with the aim of bringing literature to the homes of every interested reader.
