Chief Mrs Modupe Onitiri-Abiola , has revealed a message of courage to all Yoruba self-determination agitators across the planet , the activist and widow of Chief MKO Abiola , has announced the completion of the 5 million signature petition mark , Onitiri said that Yorubas are now free people in their self-determination processes .
Addressing the inner Caucus of the Yoruba Agitation group on the 26th. May 2022 , Chief Mrs Onitiri -Abiola described the landmark achievement as historical , she said it is worthy to be commemorated.
Revealing the result of a four month drive and active campaign for the signatures as directed by the international constitutional bodies and the United Nations , Chief Mrs Onitiri Abiola said : ”The five million petition results has been submitted to the United Nations and also to several other Yoruba settlements and kingdoms in diaspora. We have achieved 5million signatures , it is God who did it , He started it and He has finished it “ Onitiri Abiola said
According to Chief Mrs Onitiri Abiola , the Yorubas will soon be free from the years of slavery by the Hausa-Fulani Oligarchy , she advised that Yorubas across the planet should continue praying and struggling till the freedom is finally attained .
Chief Mrs Onitiri said that the five million signature has signaled an automatic exit from the nation called Nígeria, she said Nígeria was a crime committed in 1914 by the European intruders who never had the interest of nobody in mind , she said the Yorubas must go “ the constant loss of lives and properties in Nígeria is beyond what anybody can imagine “ Onitiri revealed.
The activist said that the entire world is aware that the Yorubas are not ready for war , she said the Yorubas are no longer interested in Nígeria and are ready to leave the nation tagged Nígeria without wars or conflicts “ It is already a Fulani nation , we are not Fulanis , we are Yorubas , the five million signatures has made the Yoruba nation agitation official ” she said .
The Yoruba self determination activist and leader of Ilana Omo Oodua , Prof . Banji Akintoye , who also was at the conference revealed the government of Nígeria had attempted to extradite the freedom and self determination activist, Chief Sunday Ighoho back to Nígeria promising him heaven . Prof Akintoye said that Buaratai had promised fortunes if Chief Ighoho would abandon his self determination struggle.
The Professor of history said : “Nothing can intimidate us , the struggle is certain , Igboho has done what many can not do for years , he never denied his race for money , we are hundred percent sure of our freedom , nothing can stop it “ , Akintoye said .
Prof Akintoye advised Yorubas in diaspora to continue the agitation , he said that the Yorubas must be free from a nation that has enslaved them for years .
