A divine gathering , pilgrimage of Orisa devotees from all over Brazil , Europe and Africa , thousands gathered in one voice , they celebrated and appeased feminine deities in the interior of a gigantic Orisa Temple in Mongaguá , Saopaulo
Established decades back , the Oduduwa Templo dos Orixas , under the Spiritual leadership and coordination of its founder , Bàbálórìsà Adesina Salami (Baba king ) received Orisa devotees from all affiliated Yoruba religion in Brazil and around the world , they celebrated and worshiped the Goddesses , it was a divine unification of the sons and daughters of Osun , Oya , Yemoja and the rest feminine deities In Mongaguá
According to Baba King , in his lecture to the multitude , : “ The first residence of every human being is inside the mother’s womb , the men only produce a minute contribution , but the mother takes the rest for 9 good months before a baby is born , so it is very important that we celebrate them . The feminine deities are essential , they should be appeased and celebrated often , the existence of a living being depends on them., Let us celebrate our mothers “ Baba king explained while he quoted Ifa verses .
The ceremony which started at the early hours of Sunday 4th , Sept. 2022 counted with Bàbálórìsàs , Iyàlórisàs attached to the Oduduwa family in Brazil , Africa and Europe.
Dances , drums , rituals , and ritual activities colored the event , the devotees matched in multitude to the waterside, they appeased Osun , they danced , tranced and worshiped the Water Goddess in Mongaguá , Saopaulo.
