Notable attendees included the National President of the Brazil Labor Union (CUT), President Rodrigo of SINDACS, and director-general Dedé Caju, alongside numerous national labor executives. A highlight of the event was the captivating exhibition featuring the artwork of renowned Nigerian artist Adeyinka Olaiya and esteemed Afro-Brazilian artists Lois Gonçalves and Lúcia Rosa. Olaiya’s evocative mixed-media paintings depicted Yoruba divinities like Ęyę and Móremí, providing a glimpse into Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. Gonçalves’ exquisite paintings delved into Afro-Brazilian themes, portraying figures like Marielle and Zombie, resonating with the community’s joys and struggles.
