Brazil , this Thursday , recorded over 300 deaths from Covid-19 under 24hrs , the killer disease snatched 339 lives this Thursday, 16th , June 2022 . It has also recorded another 70,290 new infections.
According to the data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) , the country has reached 668,693 victims of the disease and 31,611,769 cases of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020
The State of SãoPaulo has the highest number of accumulated cases, with 5.6 million positive results and 170,000 deaths. Next is Minas Gerais (3.5 million cases and 61,800 deaths); Paraná (2.5 million cases and 43.5 thousand deaths) and Rio Grande do Sul (2.5 million cases and 39.8 thousand deaths).
According to the Ministry of Health , 443 million doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have already been applied, of which 177.4 million are the first dose; 159.9 million second dose, plus 90 million booster dose and 6.6 million second booster dose.
