“IFA , The Encyclopedia Of Yoruba Race” Says Chief Solagbade Popoola

The President , IFA council , Chief (Dr) Solagbade Popoola has described Ifa as the encyclopedia of Yoruba Race , the Oluwo said Ifa is the A to Z of the Yoruba people , he described Ifa as the body of thousands of Orisas and 801 irunmoles .

Chief Popoola categorized Ifa as the storyline of all Orisas , he said it is through Ifa that Orisas are better known , he insists all Orisas and Irunmoles have their stories embedded in Ifa literary corpus

Chief Popoola ,who was a special guest at the Adeyinka Olaiya YouTube Channel , in Saopaulo, Brazil ,said the IFA council is working hard to encourage Ifa and Orisa studies , he said the council intends to help build the spiritual aspects of every devotee

Chief Popoola alerted that IFA does not have Icons like Orisas , but only make use of tools , such as Ikin , Opele, Ajere Ifa and só on for divinations . The Chief further described Ifa as the embodiment of all Orisas and Irunmoles , he said it is the encyclopedia of Yoruba Race

The Academic and Traditionalist explained the importance of Ifa to the Yoruba history , he said Ifa council will soon have its own seminary , the council will encourage the teachings of Ifa and Orisa .Chief Popoola explained the projects of IFA council and how it intends to convert people into the service of Orisa , he said IFA council will draw devotees closer to the real source of Orisas and Irunmoles in Yoruba land

According to Chief Solagbade,: “ Ifa represents all Orisas , Ifa is the evidence of Yoruba Race , Ifa is what the Yorubas have as tool to enrich themselves , Ifa is everything that involves the Yoruba Race , Ifa is the direct speech of Olodumare , Ifa is the record of the activities of all irunmoles here on earth , Ifa is the encyclopedia of Yoruba Race “

The Ifa Priest mentioned his books , the books of Prof. Wande Abimbola and Ayo Salami for those who wants to read and know more of Ifa , he said Ifa is important to the Yorubas
